Dr. Joseph Zulu

2016 Trainee

Dr. Joseph Zulu completed a Master’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and a PhD in Public Health. He is currently working as a Lecturer in Health Promotion at the Department of Public Health, University of Zambia. From 2008 to 2012, he served as an Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Zambia, Student Welfare and Residences Department.


Joseph has 8 years of professional and research experience in human resources for health, heath policy and systems research, gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights, infectious diseases, as well as child and social protection. His PhD focused on analyzing the integration process of national community-based health worker programs in health systems in Zambia and other low and middle income countries.
