Trainee Francis Masiye (2006) reports from the field on his work as Clinical Trial Inspector for the College of Medicine, Research Ethics Committee in Blantyre Malawi and his work as Research Associate for the Center for Bioethics in Eastern and Southern Africa (CEBESA). The issue discusses the activities of the June session with trainees from three different Fogarty bioethics training programs (SARET, MERETI, and FABTP), including the week-long course at Georgetown University and the “mock IRB.”
